British Section Drama Club
Weekly drama in English for British Section CM1 et CM2 from the lycée international de Saint Germain-en-Laye
Drama Club is a weekly English-language theatre activity open to CM1 and CM2 pupils from the British Section at the Lycée International site in Saint Germain-en-Laye. It’s available to both 'interne' and 'externe' children.
The activity takes place every Monday and Tuesday after school and is led by actress and director Sophie Brech.

Each 90-minute session includes theatre games, improvised scenes, vocal and physical exercises, and of course, rehearsals for the end-of-year performance. Children will come home with skills in spoken and physical expression, listening, teamwork, and public speaking—plus, a big boost in their fluency in English!

Drama Club est une activité hebdomadaire de théâtre en anglais, accessible aux enfants de CM1 et CM2 de la British Section sur le site lycée St Germain (élèves externes ou internes). L’atelier se déroule tous les lundis et mardis après l’école avec l’actrice et metteuse en scène Sophie Brech.

Les séances de 90 minutes sont ponctuées de jeux théâtraux, de scènes improvisées, de travail vocal et physique et, bien sûr, de répétitions du spectacle de fin d’année. Les enfants repartent avec des compétences en expression vocale et corporelle, en écoute, en travail d’équipe et en prise de parole—et bien sûr, une meilleure aisance en anglais!
