La Presque story de Roméo et Juliette

For all audiences aged 8+

Portraits of Adelaide Pralon and Conor Short as romeo and juliet

Two actors are supposed to tell a bilingual version of Romeo and Juliet, but one of them believes Shakespeare sounds better in his original language and would happily do without the French altogether. He therefore resorts to every trick in the book to perform the entire play in English, but his French partner is having none of it.

They will have to invent ways to tell this timeless story together. Equipped with a few props, the duo portrays a multitude of characters and constantly switches between languages to share with us their love of English, French, and theatre.
